Access Dental Care

Access Dental Care is a non-profit, mobile, onsite provider of comprehensive care to:

• Nursing Home Residents

• Residents in Group Homes for those with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities

• PACE (Programs of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) Participants

• Central Carolina Health Network (HIV/AIDS)/Cone Infectious Disease Participants

• New Hanover County Older Adult Dental Program

• Community Dwelling Patients with Special Health Care Needs

Every day our five teams (a dentist, hygienist and two dental assistants) drive to a facility, unload two operatories of dental equipment, provide care to 15-18 patients, upload the same equipment and return to home base. This team is supported by in-house social workers, schedulers and billing specialists, making sure the details of complex care are taken care of.
